| The Annual Kinnard Chapter Reunion was held May
5-9, 2006 at the Grand Hotel at Cape May, NJ. This year's theme was
"Mardi Gras". Pioneers were asked to bring a WalMart or
Target gift card with them. The cards will be sent to Dibert
Elementary school in New Orleans to be used for needed items to get the
school open. The school was flooded and has many needs.
Dictionaries will also be sent to the fifth graders at the school.
You can always count on lots of people to dress up for the theme
night. With this year's Mardi Gras theme a mask-making class was
held for 37 people. You can see some of the completed masks
below. Everyone had a good time dressing up, with a lot of time put
into some of the costumes.
