Scranton Club Meeting Dates

Activities: 

Wal-Mart Gift cards along with miscellaneous hygiene items have been given to the Victims Intervention Program in Honesdale.  A vacuum cleaner was also presented to the Catherine McAuley House.  Electronic maps were given to the 4th grade at North Pocono Intermediate School and to the 3rd grade at All Saints Academy in Scranton.  The work group repairing the "talking books" for the blind association is also building electronic maps for the different clubs in our  Chapter.  Used eye glasses were given to the blind association.  "Read to Me" baby bibs, baby caps, Hugh-A-Bears and Ditty bags were given to St. Joseph's Baby Pantry in Dunmore.  Knitted hats were given to the Oncology Departments at Mercy Hospital, Scranton; N.E. Associates, Dunmore; Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale and Marion Hospital, Carbondale.   Presented an electronic maps along with Vocabulary Builders to the Wallenpaupack South Elementary School, Newfoundland.  An electronic map was also presented to the Lutheran Academy.  Lap robes to Pioneers and friends in various nursing homes in the area.
