Activities:
Seven Mountains Club active membership is small in numbers, but mighty in activity. We do many activities that include Hats with Hugs, Seasons Readings, Painting USA Maps on elementary school playgrounds, Sports Jamboree, and making contributions to domestic violence shelters. We also we have fundraisers like Rada Knives and Garage Sales. Christmas 2009 our shopping elves provided a very special Christmas for a single parent with four children. Some of our Pioneers prepared and served a free lunch to visitors at the Salvation Army on April 21. April 30 and May 1 we sold our unwanted treasured items at a Garage Sale and had a very successful fundraiser. May 15 Jerry Ross and his partner (Jean) helped the Williamsport Club paint a USA Map on the Avis Elementary School playground. May 24 we painted a USA Map on the playground at Easterly Parkway Elementary School in State College. May 28 we donated a vacuum sweeper, laundry products, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items to the Huntingdon House (Domestic Violence Shelter) in Huntingdon, Pa.
